TRAVEL-VERNISSAGE

it’s a collection of works from around the world inspired by traveling

Friends!
On the website of our festival, we have opened a new space for artists of the world, where we collect a unique collection of incredible works. Each of you can send us a photo of your unique work created during your trip. The main thing is that each work should have a story and an incredible atmosphere that traveling gives.

ABOUT THE “TRAVEL-VERNISSAGE” PROJECT. “The creation of our project also begins with a story. Once I was visiting Tbilisi (Georgia). While I was traveling through the city, my attention was often caught by the paintings of local artists that were sold along the cobblestone streets. I especially liked the depiction of Georgian houses. It seemed that these houses had filled the entire landscape and dissolved somewhere in the sky.
Opposite the hotel, where I lived, there is a craftsman’s shop. There I bought a painting that depicts the houses as a souvenir to remind me of my trip.
And, on the airplane, on the way back to Kharkiv, I came up with the idea of our festival. So you can say that this painting got me inspired. And I’ve got a tradition: to get my own collection of paintings that depict the cities of distant countries where I traveled to remind me of them.” (Anna Kurinna)

This is how the idea of our unusual “Travel Vernissage” was created.

The Vernissage is an opportunity to share your creativity with viewers from all over the world, to find your admirers, and most importantly, to inspire and get inspired to travel!”
